Cottage Inn Gourmet Pizza has been around for 60 years and a mainstay in many Michigander`s diets....especially on Friday night after a busy week!

It all started in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1948 in a small brick building right in the middle of the University of Michigan campus.  Now, you can find a Cottage Inn in most Michigan cities and they have even crossed the border to Ohio.

Now, now, they like good pizza too......we need to share!

John S. Faraone, the new owner of the Brownstown Cottage Inn, brings the true Cottage Inn qualities to Downriver---uniqueness, tradition and fun!

John was born in Australia and part of a first Italian generation raised in Australia. He is fluent in Italian and has an extensive background in Italian cuisine.

John grew up in restaurants as his father operated numerous restaurants, bakeries and pizzerias in Sydney, Australia.  When you begin your career at 13 years old you learn early what great comfort and joy good food can bring to a gathering.

After earning a degree in Hospitality Management, John began his restaurant career and his course was set until he met a Downriver girl, in the Caribbean.
I guess you probably know the rest of the story.

Anyone that meets John and experiences his broad smile and strong handshake realizes that only good things will happen when he is around.
A promise of great hot pizza, delivered with a smile is going to happen!

Need a break from the rat race?
Order a pizza, grab a drink and do what restaurateurs have been doing for years, savoring the food and the moments!
